Bolzano is situated to the 262 m in the originated width valley from the conjunction of goes them of Isarco, Sarentina and of the Adige, and delimited to the west from the chain of the Mendola, to the north-west of the Plateau of Salto/Salten (ca. 1,500 m), to the northeast from the Mount Tondo/Krummeck (1,111 m) and to south-east from the Mount Pozza/Stadlegg (1,619 m).
