POSTOJNA CAVES & PREDJAMA CASTLE
Departure from Bibione at 8,00/8.30 a.m. by coach with tour guide towards the Italo-Slovenian border of Fernetti (along the free-way). The journey goes on to Postojna for a visit with an official guide of the famous Caves (Entrance ticket not included). First of all you'll try a typical open little train, after that you'll walk through a large variety of illuminated caves, where you can admire plenty of stalagtites and an underground river. Free time for lunch (not included) and in the afternoon transfer to Predjama for the visit (entrance ticket not included) of the homonym castle, an inpregnable stronghold, built for the wish of the robber knight Erasmus, whose legend goes back to the further 1202. At the end of the visit departure for Bibione with arrival at about 6.30 p.m..
*For the visit of the caves we suggest to wear warm clothes (temperature in the caves: 8°C).
