Caorle holidays
Italy has a long coast which is full of beautiful beaches. Of these, caorle is a pretty unusual resort situated on the northern Adriatic coast between Venice and Trieste. Caorle was built on the edge of the Venetian lagoon and has ancient roman origins. You can find narrow streets, little squares and houses painted in pastel colours in this quaint town. The interesting landmarks include the ancient bell tower and the old Romanesque cathedral, which are well worth a visit. There are also shops, fashion boutiques and elegant ice cream parlours. Of the delicious cuisine served in Caorle, tasty fresh seafood grills are on the top of each menu with an excellent choice of local wines.
Caorle is an urban sandy long beach with the total length of is 9 km, of which 3 beaches are free accessed. It is superbly located, close to the busy resorts and hotels of Caorle with a large private beach on the doorstep. This is an excellent location for a family holiday. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone amused with all the facilities that they could wish for and direct access to a long and sandy beach. Both the free-access and the beaches with bathing places have got access for disables. The beaches are exceptionally well organised, immaculately clean and orderly and during the summer many events, concerts and entertainments are organised for both children and adults.
